Android Docks From Philips
Philips is not its iPod docking stations / iPad version of Android. Smartphones and tablets running the operating system from Google now has its own dock.
While docking stations equipment iOS compete to outdo, Philips is adapting its range of docks in the world Fidelio Android. The manufacturer benefits from the 2011 edition of the IFA in Berlin to unveil three models: Fidelio AS111, AS351 and AS851.
All three models offer respectively the powers of 4 Watts, 10 Watts and 2 x 15 Watts (RMS), and the same connectivity “Android” OS from version 2.1 and microUSB. Three docks are also compatible Bluetooth Fidelio 2.1. The docking stations are also based on a free application: the Fidelio App.
The AS111 has a diameter of 17.1 cm and a height of 6.7 cm and weighs 750 g. It only works on AC power.
The AS351 displays a footprint of 27.1 x 13 x 9 cm for operation on AC or batteries (8 hour battery life is advanced by Philips).
The AS851 finally wants to be the more cumbersome with its 42.1 x 15.7 x 14 cm. Also only works sector.
Philips has not unveiled the price.
