Live with Walkman: music-oriented smartphone Android Sony Ericsson (specification)
Sony Ericsson unveils Walkman with Live, a new music and strongly oriented smartphone powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread. An announcement comes just months after that of the W8.
In April that Sony Ericsson unveiled the W8, the first Walkman smartphone to run on Android 2.1 Eclair here. Quite ordinary in its design, this phone had not created so the emotions: what about when the Walkman with Live, this time boarding new model Gingerbread Android 2.3, newly released by the firm?
Live with the Walkman has a Qualcomm processor 1 Ghz, a capacitive touch screen of 3.2 inches a result of (only) 480 x 320 pixels, a storage space with a 320 stretch drive Card microSD / SDHC up to 32GB, a 5 megapixel sensor to make videos in 720p and a GPS chip allowing the geotagging. Side connections, you can count on Bluetooth A2DP – for listening to music wirelessly – a microUSB port or WiFi hotspot with function.
In terms of features built by Sony Ericsson smartphone firmly oriented to the music, there is the TrackID application that identifies music in seconds – like Shazam – the service to purchase music online Qriocity, xLoud technology to optimize the sound as it exits the speaker of the device, or interactions with social networks through the application Media Discovery. The smartphone offers use of a key named “Infinite button” that allows quick access to current information on the user’s favorite artists.
In short, if the Walkman Live with displays of technical specifications which are not revolutionary, it shows quite clearly his musical direction. It is regrettable that in this, Sony Ericsson does not provide guidance on the headphones that are supplied with the camera … The smartphone will be available in the last half of 2011 to a still unknown price.
